BioQuery is also a full update service, allowing you to save your searches on our server, and to receive periodic updates when new data is found matching your search criteria.

Silva comprehensive ribosomal RNA databases

A comprehensive resource for quality checked and aligned ribosomal RNA sequence data, free for academic use.SILVA provides comprehensive, quality checked and regularly updated databases of aligned small (16S/18S, SSU) and large subunit (23S/28S, LSU) ribosomal RNA (rRNA) sequences for all three domains of life (Bacteria, Archaea and Eukarya). SILVA are the official databases of the software package ARB.

Nucleic Acids Research Database Issue


The first issue of the year of this popular journal is known as the database issue as it provides papers on 179 molecular, genetic and bioinformatics resources (95 of which are new), most of which are available over the web. Whle some of the databases are new, other papers describe enhancements to old favorites. The e-journal version is especialy nice as it provides links directly to the databases themselves.
