Chronux

Chronux is an open-source software package being developed for the analysis of neural data. It is a collaborative research effort based at the Mitra Lab in Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory that has grown out of the work of several groups. Chronux routines may be employed in the analysis of both point process and continuous data, ranging from preprocessing, exploratory and confirmatory analysis.

The Gensat Project (Gene Expression Nervous System Atlas)

An NIH-funded, publicly available gene expression of the developing and adult central nervous system in the mouse. The project also generates BAC-EGFP reporter and BAC-cre recombinase driver mouse lines, which are available as research resources to the scientific community.

The Whole Brain Atlas

An incredible collection of clinical data with magnetic resonance (MR), X-ray computed tomography (CT), and nuclear medicine images of the brain. A site that includes 'Tours' of pathological conditions as well as MPEG movies. The on-line atlas has sections on normal brain, cerebrovascular disease, neoplastic disease, degenerative disease, and inflammatory/infectious disease.
